Description
Succulent photo, red tipped circling outward like some abstract painting. A gathering of friends.
A succulent plant is adapted to dry conditions or places where water is extremely limited like deserts. As a result succulent plants must make sure it can retain whatever water they have within their bodies. One of the ways to do this is to have thick cuticles or outer layers in order to minimize evapotranspiration or water loss. Another way is to make their internal fluids more viscous and less prone to evaporation.
